Looking for some extra help with your tumbling technique or maybe you are looking to strengthen the skills you have or work on some new tumbling. Our classes offer you the perfect opportunity to come in and get that focussed attention you have been looking for. Each class will meet for 50 minutes each week and will provide the structure and instruction you have been looking for to help further your skills. Classes are kept small to make sure that all of the attention is on the students and each student is getting the most out of their classes. You can also combine classes to get even more experience and time in the gym. We also offer specialty classes that focus on skills such as flying, basing, flexibility, etc. You can also login to our Parent Portal to register for classes!

Description
Flash classes are 30 min classes used to work specific skills. These classes are designed for athletes that want extra work on a specific skill. Classes will use drills and conditioning to strengthen the athletes understanding and execution of the skill.

Intro to Cheer

Ages: 4 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 10 to 1
Description: This class will focus on the basics of cheer including Jumps, motions, and conditioning! Great for anyone looking into joining a cheer team! No previous experience required!

 

Intro to 100 Tumbling

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Description: This class is designed for beginner athletes! Athletes will learn the fundamental movements required for tumbling. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling. NO previous tumbling is required!

 

Tumbling 101

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Handstand
  • Cartwheel
  • Back bend
  • Front limber

Description: In this class athletes will learn a front and back walkover, as well as perfect a round-off. Skills from Intro to 100 Tumbling will be used to further master the basics of tumbling and beginner level skills. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling!

 

Tumbling 102

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Back walkover
  • Front walkover
  • Roundoff

Description: This class will focus on connecting the skills, along with perfecting the skills (Straight legs, pointed toes, and correct arm placement) Athletes will also start working on drills for the Back Handspring. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling!

 

Intro to 200 Tumbling

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Mastery of all skills included in 100 level tumbling classes
  • Advancing to our 200 level tumbling classes requires perfected front-walkover cartwheel back-walkover, round-off rebound, handstand block, and an understanding of the Back Handspring. All must have straight arms by ears, chin tucked in, straight legs, with pointed toes

Description: This class will work on the breakdown of the back handspring. Athletes will work on proper technique, conditioning, and drills to perfect the standing back handspring. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling

 

Tumbling 201

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Must be able to do a standing back handspring on the tumble Trak, floor, or mat without a spot

Description: This class will help athletes work on connection skills with the back handspring. Round-off back handspring, back walkover back handspring, front walkover round-off back handspring, and round- off 3 back handsprings. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling!

 

Tumbling 300

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Mastery of all skills included in 200 level tumbling classes
  • Advancing to level 3 requires perfected standing back-handspring with rebound, round-off 3 back-handsprings with rebound, front-walkover through to back-handspring with rebound, back-walkover back-handspring.

Description: In this class athletes will begin to learn a round-off back handspring back tuck / layout. They will focus on rotating their hips and toes over their shoulders while keeping their arms by their ears. They will also incorporate standing tumbling and will work to perfect and increase power in series of back handsprings. In addition, athletes will work front walkovers, series of back handsprings, punch fronts, and whips into running tumbling passes. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling!

 

Tumbling 400

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 8 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Mastery of all skills included in 300 level tumbling classes

Description: In this class athletes will begin to learn a round-off back handspring full.  In addition, athletes will work to incorporate front walkovers, series of back handsprings, punch fronts, and whips into running tumbling passes. Athletes will also incorporate standing tumbling and will work to perfect standing back handsprings and jump back handsprings into layouts, fulls, and doubles. Drills and Conditioning will be used to execute perfect body lines and control through the athletes tumbling!

 

Flyer Flexibility

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 20 to 1
Description: This class will be for anyone who would like to improve their overall flexibility. Flyers must pass our Flyer Flexibility class or be evaluated before moving into Flight School. Athletes will work on splits, bridges and other flexibility drills to give them the skills needed to fly!

 

Flight School

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 20 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Completed all skills for Flyer Flexibility

Description: This class will specialize in working on and mastery of various body positions for flyers. Athletes will learn how to pull all body positions as well as increasing overall flexibility in their body positions and increased body awareness. Flyers will work on mastering skills on the floor and will not be put into the air. Athletes will work on all body positions including lib, heel stretch, front stretch, bow and arrow, arabesque, scale, kick scorpion and needles!

 

Hyper Jumps

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 20 to 1
Description: This class will focus on jumping and flexibility drills to improve athlete’s overall jump technique and execution. Athletes will learn to engage their core in jumps, work to increase overall jump flexibility and extension as well as working correct arm and body placement!

 

Basket Tech

Ages: 5 – 18 years old
Student to Instructor Ratio: 20 to 1
Prerequisite Skills:

  • Completed all skills for Flyer Flexibility

Description: This class will specialize in levels 3-5 baskets. The flyers will learn the correct form for their baskets, how to engage their core to execute skills, and other basket technique they will need to fly upper level baskets. Flyers will work on mastering skills on the floor and trampoline and will not be put into the air. Athletes will work on skills for all baskets including fulls, doubles, kick full and kick double baskets, hitch kick baskets, switch kick baskets and other 2 to 3 trick basket skills!
